Creator Terms

Last updated October 2026. Governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.

Draft — pending qualified legal review. This document is a working draft and is not final legal advice or a binding final version.

These Creator Terms describe the relationship between LOD — Live On Demand ("LOD"), and creators who join the LOD network ("Creator").

1. Eligibility

Creators must be at least 18 years old and meet TikTok's eligibility requirements for LIVE and the Creator Network program.

2. Independence

Creators are independent. Nothing in these terms creates employment, partnership or agency. Creators control their content, schedule and account.

3. Fees and compensation

LOD does not charge creators. LOD is compensated through TikTok's Creator Network program. Creators keep 100% of their gifts. Viewer financial support is optional, and LOD will never ask creators to pressure viewers to gift.

4. LOD's support

LOD provides reasonable onboarding, technical guidance, scheduling help and community support. LOD does not guarantee followers, viewers, income or any particular result.

5. Creator responsibilities

  • Comply with TikTok's terms and Community Guidelines and LOD's community guidelines.
  • Keep account credentials secure; LOD will never ask for your password.
  • Communicate honestly about availability and any issues.

6. Content and IP

Creators own their content. Creators may grant LOD a limited, revocable permission to feature their name and public content to promote the network, only with separate consent.

7. Leaving the network

Either party may end the relationship with written notice, subject to TikTok's Creator Network program rules on network changes.

8. Governing law

Governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.
