Community Guidelines

Last updated October 2026. Governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.

Draft — pending qualified legal review. This document is a working draft and is not final legal advice or a binding final version.

These guidelines apply to LOD creators and to anyone taking part in LOD-related live experiences. They supplement — and never replace — TikTok's Community Guidelines.

1. Respect

  • No harassment, hate speech, threats or bullying.
  • Respect privacy: don't share others' personal information.

2. Honest participation

  • Financial support is optional. Creators must not pressure, guilt or mislead viewers into gifting.
  • No fake giveaways, misleading claims or promises of rewards for gifts.

3. Safety

  • No content that endangers minors or anyone else.
  • No dangerous challenges or encouragement of self-harm.
  • Creators should use moderation tools and remove harmful chat.

4. Legal compliance

Follow applicable Canadian and Ontario laws, including consumer protection and privacy laws, and respect intellectual property.

5. Reporting

Use TikTok's in-app reporting tools and contact LOD about issues involving network creators. We review reports and may end a creator's participation for serious or repeated violations.
